This is an edition of 250 individual A5-sized Sharpie drawings on 300gsm watercolour paper. Each drawing is signed and numbered. 001/250 has been acquired by The New Art Gallery Walsall for the 'Twenty Twenty Collection' of art produced by West Midlands-based artists in response to world events during 2020. I used materials that had been sitting around at home, rather than buying something new - remember: reduce, re-use, recycle. The price is £10 (including postage in the UK) and 25% of the purchase price goes to my local branch of Extinction Rebellion. The work is based on something said by Dr Gail Bradbrook (co-founder of Extinction Rebellion) in a radio interview in December 2020, and to me it's a message not only about how to help the environment, but how to help ourselves and each other.
